GRACE Director

GRACE has an opening for a new Director following the resignation of its long-time manager, Rhonda Oliver. The part-time position is responsible for managing GRACE's day-to-day activities, including overall supervision of volunteer staff and general office operations. The Director maintains strong working relationships with the leaders of local church, civic and community organizations with whom GRACE partners in conducting various programs to help people in need. He or she reports to the Governing Board and may represent GRACE on boards of other community service groups. The Board is especially interested in finding a Director who can help take the organization to the next level as it expands its program activities and seeks significant grant funds to support those programs. This could be a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work in the field of social services and is committed to helping serve needy families in Greene County. Interested parties should call GRACE at 985-6792.

DELIVERY CREWS

Most of our requests are meeting needs for our working poor, so most deliveries need to be made at night or on Saturdays. We have one or more deliveries most weeks. Currently we have two delivery volunteers - one available during the week, and one available on Saturdays. They have made most of the deliveries for the past quarter, and have done so joyfully. Still, it would be very nice to have several volunteers that we could call on, on a rotating basis. If you can help us make deliveries, please let us know.
